Concrete provider Miller & Long unveils new website on its 75th anniversary

Miller & Long Co., Inc., a structural concrete provider, says it has launched a new corporate website “showcasing the company’s 75 years of expertise, innovation and success,” the company says in a sttatement.

Established in 1947, the business grew from a small operation into one of the largest concrete construction companies in the Mid-Atlantic

Timed to mark the diamond anniversary milestone, “the website introduces a contemporary design and all-new content,” the Dec. 14 statement says .”The site highlights the company’s rich history and expertise. It also features Miller & Long’s long-standing commitment to safety and ongoing community engagement. More than 20 projects are showcased – many of which form the modern skylines of the greater Washington, D.C. area.”

“We are proud of our history, accomplishments, and our team’s unwavering commitment to safety and customer service that have paved the way for decades of success,” said Brett McMahon, Miller & Long Chairman and CEO. “I couldn’t be more pleased with our new website that helps to tell that story as we mark our first 75 years.”

Jack Miller and Jimmy Long founded the company pouring concrete for driveways, curbs, gutters and sidewalks. Over the years, Miller & Long pioneered numerous industry innovations, including use of electric-powered climber cranes and tall-tracked tower cranes. To date, the company has poured more than 20 million cubic yards of concrete and completed more than $8 billion in concrete construction projects.

Miller & Long’s Vice Chairman and COO John Paleologos added: “The leaders who came before us believed in being creative, forward-thinking and willing to take risks. They also demonstrated a strong work ethic, continuous learning and caring for others. I believe our greatest achievement is continuing that tradition by training, teaching and caring for the family that is Miller & Long.”
