Three construction workers hospitalized in Alexandria site electrocution incident

Washington Construction News staff writer

Three construction workers were hospitalized on Feb. 19 after being electrocuted while on the job in Alexandria, police said in a statement.

Alexandria police said they have opened an investigation into the incident that occurred at what police described as an “industrial incident” at 6336 Stevenson Ave., a largely residential area.

Police said two of the workers had life-threatening injuries. One was treated on the scene and didn’t need hospitalization. Police said all four are in stable condition.

The address is the construction site of a seven-townhouse development by Old Creek Homes LLC, with four-story townhouses with basements along Stevenson Avenue.
