WBC seeking nominations for officers, directors

The Washington Building Congress (WBC) Nominating Committee is seeking the nomination of qualified members who would like to make a contribution to the overall goals and objectives of the organization.

In a July 18 website announcement the committee says nominees have typically served several years in WBC volunteer roles as committee members, vice-chairs and chairs. The new Board of Directors term commences on Oct, 1.

Nominations should be submitted by Aug. 26 and the election of officers and directors will take place Sept. 29 during the association’s Fall Kickoff event.

Officer and director positions available include: Chairman-elect, one year term, one position; vice-chairman, one year term, three positions; treasurer, one year term, one position; secretary, one year term, one position, and director 2022-2025, three year term, three positions.

Self-nominations are permitted.
